Instrumental Electronic Jazz

Baritone saxophonist, flutist, and producer Eramir Neto builds a sound entirely his own, crossing instrumental music, electronics, and free improvisation. Since 2007, he has researched the use of pedals and electronic equipment on acoustic instruments — a path rarely explored outside of guitar, which has become his signature.

In 2020, he released his first solo album, Meniere, in which saxophones, flute, voice, and effects are electronically reimagined. The name references Ménière's disease, whose symptom is a kind of sudden "sonic dyslexia" — and that is exactly the sensation the show proposes: music meant to be felt before it's understood.

On stage, Eramir transforms acoustic instruments into live electronic landscapes, building sonic layers in real time in front of the audience, in a set that shifts with every performance. The show has been featured on the renowned Sesc Instrumental Brasil program and at the Rio Jazz Montreux Festival, establishing itself as an intense sonic experience for those seeking instrumental jazz outside the ordinary.
